Bride favorites like peonies may not be in season during winter but winter wedding flowers can be just as stunning as any other season. Here, I've gathered my favorite winter wedding centerpieces to show you. The color palettes & style vary but every centerpiece makes winter shine in all its glory.
Happy Wedding Wednesday! As I mentioned yesterday, this winter has been a little intense with snowstorm after snowstorm. That's why I'm thrilled to pieces to bring you a beautiful winter wedding in Florida with no snow in sight! Instead you'll see military pride, ocean views and a lovely green & white color palette. Limelight Photography shows us the beauty:
Merritt & Will got married on January 3 at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Both the Bride & the Groom have served our great country in the United States Army. Because they love nothing more than to relax by the beach in their downtime, Clearwater Beach was a perfect choice for their wedding. Although their winter wedding day was a little cold by Florida standards, the Bride & Groom's genuine smiles created a warmth that was felt by all. After a sweet First Look, the Bride & Groom said "I Do!" at the Sky Terrace, an intimate rooftop terrace with sparkling Gulf of Mexico views. The space was simply, yet beautifully decorated, with a focal point of a white fabric altar and an aisle lined with baby's breath poms. Family & friends watched as the Bride & Groom said their vows. A spectacular sunset marked the end of the ceremony & the beginning of a marriage. Dinner, dancing & general merriment took place at the Aqaulea Ballroom, tastefully decorated with iron candle lanterns perched atop tree stumps & surrounded by green & white flowers, rocks & candles for a cozy feel on a winter night. A perfect setting for a fun party! Towards the end of the night, the white wedding cake topped by two adorable whales was threatened with the Groom's sword. In a final flourish, the newlyweds said good-bye in grand style with a sparkler departure!
I'll admit: after nine snowstorms, I'm pretty much ready for this winter to make its grand exit and make way for spring. But I soldier on with my winter wedding inspiration because I still love winter weddings. Today's inspiration is simple yet incredibly stunning. Here we have the church entrance for a winter wedding decorated with candle lanterns, pinecone wreaths and white uplighting. Instant warm & cozy feel! Not to mention so beautiful. All it needs is a light dusting of snow to complete the look . . . Photo: Eric Kelley Photographyvia
Happy Wedding Wednesday! Can you imagine anything more romantic than stealing away to Venice, Italy & getting eloped? Well, this lovely Greek couple did just that. Here is an elopement filled with a cozy love, the charm of Venice & one killer pink wedding dress! Luca Faz Photographer in Venice shows us the beauty:
Greek couple Efi & Gianni eloped on January 22 in Venice, Italy. Their sweet elopement proves all you need is love! The Bride & Groom skipped a traditional big wedding & escaped to this romantic city to get married. The beautiful Bride wore a gorgeous pale pink wedding dress, accented with a bright pink flower in her hair & a loose, pastel bridal bouquet in her arms. The dapper Groom wore a navy blue suit. Each donned an overcoat & walked through the historic streets of Venice to their simple, civil marriage ceremony. After becoming husband & wife, they celebrated against the gorgeous backdrop of Venice. A big, fat Greek wedding will follow in the upcoming year! My Favorite Moment: The Bride & Groom stealing a kiss on the streets of Venice after their ceremony. My Favorite Detail: I love, LOVE the Bride's beautiful pink wedding dress! Congratulations, Efi & Gianni! VENDOR LOVE: Photography: Luca Fraz Photography in Venice / Submitted via Two Bright Lights / Elopement Location: Venice, Italy
