{Real Lakeside Wedding} Abigail & Bradley

What do you get when you combine a lovely Bride wearing a Nicole Miller beauty, a sunny lakeside location & a dessert reception?  Yes, you read that correctly- a dessert reception of cake & pie!!!!  Cake AND pie.  Well, it's a wedding dream come true.  Let's enjoy the gorgeous photos from Lauren D. Rogers Photography:

Abigail & Bradley set out to plan an intimate wedding with a fun, casual vibe.  They chose Clayton State Park, a picturesque waterfront location, for their ceremony & reception.  Their spring wedding day dawned sunny, bright & beautiful.

The pretty Bride wore a charming Nicole Miller gown & carried a sweet bouquet of white peonies accented with blue flowers.

The Bride & Groom said "I Do" in a personal, interfaith ceremony in a lakeside gazebo surrounded by their nearest & dearest.  The Father of the Groom played traditional Southern fiddle music as the couple walked down the aisle together.  They stood under a huppah made from the tallish of two good friends & held by other close friends.  After the stomping of the glass, it was time to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs.!

The wedding guests were treated to a dessert reception of wedding cake & various pies.  This is a wonderful, budget-friendly idea!!  Just imagine those lucky guests sampling delicious pies, enjoying the stunning lake views & wishing the happy couple the very best.  Like I said before, it's a wedding dream come true.

Congratulations, Abigail & Bradley!

  3. You're right!!!!! Nicole miller did the dress. And I love the simplicity (except I would have put a row of tiny buttons down the back instead of an invisible zip . . . .).Love Nicole.

    1. How funny, right? The dress is absolutely fabulous, although I can imagine a row of tiny buttons would be incredible.
