{Real Simple Winter Wedding} Teresa & Ryan
Teresa & Ryan got married on a freezing February day in British Columbia, Canada. If any of their guests were cold, their hearts absolutely melted when the Bride was walked down the aisle by her adorable daughter. Oh yes, this wedding is full of precious moments & darling details! Without further ado, Kim Reimer Photography shows us the love:
The Bride & Groom considered canceling their winter wedding due to a serious illness in the family, then decided the show must go on. The result was a wedding focused on true love, blended family & simple details.
The cozy, indoor ceremony was held in front of a decorated fireplace & branches strung with white lights. The Bride carried an abundant bouquet of baby's breath, adorned with a sentimental locket. The Bride's daughter walked the Bride down the aisle past rows & rows of white chairs holding their family & friends. The three stood together, holding hands while the vows were spoken. The Groom made promises not only to his Bride but to his stepdaughter. When the Bride & Groom sealed their vows with a kiss, a new family was created.
The celebration of marriage & family continued in the rustic ballroom. Things were kept very simple with white chairs, white tablecloths & floating candles in Mason jars. Each guest was given a baby evergreen tree to plant & grow in the new family's honor. The Bride, Groom & their daughter started their new life together with plenty of love, smiles & dancing!!
My Favorite Detail: Hands down, the baby's breath bridal bouquet. While baby's breath is popular in any season, in winter the baby's breath looks like a delicate bouquet of tiny snowballs.
My Favorite Moment: The Bride's daughter walking her Mom down the aisle to get married. Be still my heart! Close second: the Bride's daughter cutting up the dance floor!
Congratulations, Teresa & Ryan!
