Happy Wedding Wednesday!
While non-motorized Mackinac Island brings us back to a simpler time when life had a tranquil, relaxed feel, this sweet wedding brings us back to a simpler time when weddings had few details but plenty of love. All you need is love! Oh, maybe add pretty red roses & goofy attitudes too! Paul Retherford Photography shows us the beauty:
Wisconsin natives Jennifer & William got married on July 11, 2012 at The Inn at Stonecliffe on Mackinac Island in Michigan. Their intimate destination wedding was attended by immediate family. A classic red rose bridal bouquet & boutonniere were the only traditional details needed for this lovely event. In front of their nearest & dearest, they exchanged wedding vows at the Woodland Grotto, a lush spot of ferns & pines. Afterwards, the new husband & wife roamed the island & admired its scenic views of Lake Huron, Lake Michigan & Mackinac Island Bridge, never taking themselves too seriously. Then they hopped on a tandem bicycle & cycled into their happily ever after!
My Favorite Moment: Did you spot the Groom in his triumphant moment after the ceremony? I adore it.
My Favorite Detail: The tandem bicycle of course!
Congratulations, Jennifer & William!
