I wasn't a fan of sequins for a long time. I couldn't see a sequin without having awful flashbacks to the gaudy, sequin dance costumes I was forced to wear when I was a kid. Think florescent sequins combined with a Paula Abdul song! Either time really does dull my memory or sequins have grown up too. They're much more understated & lovely, especially when providing a hint of sparkle as a wedding linen.

I actually find sequins for table linens an interesting concept--especially love the first photo!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to accept that sequins are back, but I love seeing matte gold sequins in styling now. Like you say, perfectly understated =)
ReplyDeleteI have always admired sequins from afar...but lately I have had to go public with my crush on them, I have gone totally mad for sequins lately! Love the pics, would never think of sequins for table linens but I guess its just one more reason to love them!
