{Rustic Australian Wedding} Kirby & Jonathan

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today's wedding is quite a treat- a darling, rustic affair in Australia.  It's the complete rustic, romantic package with a candlelit ceremony & intimate barn-like reception.  Not to mention a killer classic car or two!  Gold Hat Photography shows us the beauty:

Kirby & Jonathan were married on November 3 in Victoria, Australia at Emu Bottom Homestead.  The historical venue is surrounded by pretty gardens & rural countryside, perfect for a rustic wedding celebration.  The wedding day began with the Bride arriving at the venue in style, traveling in a vintage black beauty.  The marriage ceremony took place at The Slab Hut, a charming former farm worker's cottage lit by the soft glow of candlelight.  In this natural warmth, the Bride & Groom said "I Do!" in front of their close family & friends.  An intimate reception followed in The Woolshed, made of rough hewn beams & filled with candles, bunting, poms & clusters of flowers.  Here, the Bride, Grooom & their guests had a great time celebrating!

My Favorite Moment:  The newlyweds stealing a kiss in their cool vintage ride!

My Favorite Detail:  The venue is absolutely unique & awesome.

Congratulations, Kirby & Jonathan!

{Bohemian Rustic British Columbia Wedding} Carley & Dan

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

A little bohemian & a little rustic- what's not to love about this wedding?  I'm particularly loving the Bride rocking a sweet floral crown & the bridesmaids showing neutral done right.  Not to mention pretty incredible scenery.  & so much, much more to admire.  Love Out Loud Studios shows us the beauty:

Carley & Dan were married on September 28 in British Columbia, Canada.  Although it rained on their autumn wedding day, they didn't let a few rain drops dampen their spirits or their celebration.  They chose a gorgeous location for their wedding & accented the natural beauty with generous amounts of lavender & burlap, seen everywhere from the bouquets to the centerpieces.  The sweet ceremony took place on a rustic porch, decorated with bunting & surrounded by nature.  Afterwards, the new Mr. & Mrs. took advantage of a break in the rain & stole a few moments outside.  The laid-back Bride didn't even care if her dress got a bit muddy!  Dinner, dancing & general merriment followed with their beloved family & friends.  Oh what a lovely wedding!

My Favorite Moment:  The glowing Bride & Groom making their way past their clapping bridal party.

My Favorite Detail:  It was a tough decision but my favorite details are the lavender bridesmaid bouquets later repurposed as wedding centerpieces.

Congratulations, Carley & Dan!

{Touch of Country Vermont Wedding} Lauren & Derrick

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

A touch of lace here.  A mason jar there.  Cowboy boots here, there & everywhere.  Take a little glam, mix it with a little rustic.  Yes, it's a country wedding, y'all!  Ampersand Wedding Photography shows us the beauty:

Lauren & Derrick were married on June 29, 2013 in beautiful Burlington, Vermont.  Their country wedding featured the prettiest peonies, the coolest cowboy boots & a true down-home spirit!  The outdoor ceremony took place in a wide, open field with sweeping views of green Vermont.  A simple, striking altar was made of birch tree branches, while birch tree branches also marked the aisle.  The Bride carried a pastel peony bouquet & wore a glamorous statement necklace, a lace corset gown & cowboy boots.  She wasn't alone- her bridesmaids wore cowboy boots too!  After becoming husband & wife, the happy couple roamed the scenic field & picturesque lake.  The celebratory reception was held in a peaked white tent where the country theme continued.  The tables were covered in lace, burlap squares & peonies tucked in lace-wrapped mason jars.  Each guest was given a personalized mason jar to enjoy drinks like Blushing Bride Daiquiri & Jack & Groom.  A traditional wedding cake was nixed in favor of towers of miniature cupcakes.  & that's a country wedding done right, folks!

My Favorite Moment:  The Bride popping a bottle of champagne with her bridesmaids.

My Favorite Detail:  A real toss up between the pretty peonies & the fun cowboy boots.

Congratulations, Lauren & Derrick!
