{Yellow & Blue Utah Wedding} Jane & Kesler

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Welcome to my last wedding feature before Baby Boy Koru!  I'm taking a short break until the Fall to enjoy motherhood (wish me luck!).  I decided to leave on a high note with the prettiest, sweetest affair that puts a big smile of my wedding-loving face.  Prepare for a lovely wedding, full of bright yellow ranunculus & other gorgeous yellow & blue details.  Pepper Nix Photography shows us the beauty:

Jane & Kesler got married on August 21 in Salt Lake, Utah.  Their wedding was marked by true love, cheery yellow ranunculus & beautiful yellow & blue details.  The main event was the private temple sealing held at the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  To celebrate their marriage, family & friends gathered with the Bride & Groom for an intimate reception at La Caille in Sandy, Utah.  Good food & sparkling conversation were had on a spectacular patio, complete with lush greenery, twinkling lights & gorgeous yellow, white & blue centerpieces.  As the evening came to a close, guests enjoyed not one but two (!!) white wedding cakes accented with fresh flowers.  A fun sparkler departure ushered the Bride & Groom into their happily ever after!

My Favorite Moment: The darling kiss after their sparkler departure from the reception.

My Favorite Detail: The happy yellow ranunculus sprinkled throughout the celebration!

Congratulations, Jane & Kesler!

{DIY Bohemian Wedding} Violaine & Gaetan

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Have I got a feast for your wedding-loving eyes!  This charming wedding is full of one delightful surprise after another- an original First Look, a tiny owl (yes, an owl!!!) ring bearer, a beautiful teepee ceremony, and much, much more.  Bonnallie Brodeur shows us the beauty:

Violaine & Gaetan got married on July 27 in Quebec, Canada at Haut Bois Normand.  The cozy sugar shack is located on a 10,000-tree maple bush situated on mountainous land, just perfect for the nature-loving couple.  They adore animals & color too, both of which were infused into their unique wedding.

The wedding day started with a cool First Look by the lake.  The Bride, wearing a flowing white wedding gown & sweet floral crown, waited for her Groom on a wooden dock.  Leaving from the opposite shore, the Groom rowed his way over to her in a red canoe flying a pirate flag.  The anticipation built as they spied each other across the water.  When they triumphantly met on the dock, they sealed the moment with a kiss!

The outdoor ceremony took place in a green clearing, marked by a lovely white teepee & bright rainbow tassels.  A little owl with bright yellow eyes was perched on the Groom's hand throughout the ceremony, where he adorably guarded the wedding rings.  Surrounded by their family & friends seated on simple wooden benches, the Bride & Groom became husband & wife during an emotional ceremony.

A great party followed at a warm, welcoming reception.  The rustic space was decorated with family wedding photos, white cafe lights, and long, wooden tables decorated with clusters of flowers, feather place settings & tiny animal figurines.  The delicious dinner was served family-style with generous sides of good conversation & merry laughter.  What a tremendous wedding!

My Favorite Moment:  The lakeside First Look complete with a pirate canoe & weathered dock.  SO fun!

My Favorite Detail:  It was very, very hard to choose, but how could I resist picking that cute owl ring bearer?

Congratulations, Violaine & Gaetan!
