{wedding centerpieces} winter's beauties

Bride favorites like peonies may not be in season during winter but winter wedding flowers can be just as stunning as any other season.  Here, I've gathered my favorite winter wedding centerpieces to show you.  The color palettes & style vary but every centerpiece makes winter shine in all its glory.

Winter can really be quite lovely!

{wedding centerpieces} planted

During the summer, the faded red deck of my childhood home was lined with planters, spilling over with bright, beautiful flowers.  The pretty image is burned forever in my heart.  Lately, I've noticed wedding centerpieces featuring planters, looking just as gorgeous as the planters in my old backyard.  I've fallen in love!

I have to say, I think planters as wedding centerpieces are just as special as planters as backyard decor!

{wedding centerpieces} mixed greens

When I walked into the public viewing of the Spring Gala, The New York Flower Shower Dinner Dance at The Altman Building, I immediately spotted my very favorite tablescape.  I did admire each & every tablescape before I made my final declaration of love.  You know, just to be fair to the other beautiful tablescapes!  But this green beauty had my heart from the very start.  Take a look & you'll see why:

Fresh green.  Irish Wedding Bells.  Burlap mixed with doilies.  Layered place settings.  Unique chairs.I just love everything about this fabulous tablescape!

{wedding centerpieces} large & in charge

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of attending The Horticultural Society of New York's public viewing of their annual Spring Gala, The New York Flower Show Dinner Dance at The Altman Building with Jen of Jen Kim Creative.  The venue was filled with 23 tables, each amazing tablescape design was created by some of New York City's top floral designers.  I was WOWED!  The creativity & talent was simply extraordinary!!

To show you these absolute beauties, I'll be popping in now & then with a wedding centerpiece post- like today!  My personal style leans more towards sweet & simple but I really admired the large, overflowing centerpieces that were showcased.  Just take a look:

Aren't they just beautiful?! With a capital B Beautiful!!
