Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Eden & Ben got married on September 28 at Moraine Lake in Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. The emphasis of their sweet wedding was love, family & nature. Engaged just two weeks prior, they decided to quickly plan an intimate wedding to include Ben's parents who were visiting from Israel. The Jewish ceremony took place at Lake Moraine, a glacially-fed lake that magically reflects a distinct shade of blue when it is full. Talk about a gorgeous backdrop for wedding vows! The new Mr. and Mrs. explored the natural setting for newlywed photos, then joined their families for a private dinner to celebrate their marriage.

When Brides think of single during wedding planning, they are most likely considering inviting their single guests with a date or embarrassing their single ladies with a bouquet toss. Things could be changing! Single may become a common word during wedding flower conversations. More & more, I spy Brides carrying one single bloom for their bridal bouquet. Hmmm, being single never looked so good!
A single bloom bridal bouquet is certainly a budget-friendly choice. & a stunning one!

Doesn't this fantastic image make you smile? I can't help it. The happy couple, the rainbow confetti, the all-out celebration. It makes me forget the lingering cold & dusting of snow that came this way yesterday during this seemingly endless winter. Instead, I'm thinking of all the wonderful things in my life & the countless reasons to toss a little confetti. It's so easy to forget in the hustle & bustle of life but there is always room for confetti.

Oh my snowflakes, how moody & romantic is this snowy winter wedding?!

A light snowfall on your winter wedding day is like a cherry on top. Preferably not a crazy blizzard, like my very first wedding planning clients but that is a wild story for another day. If you don't luck out with a little snow falling on your winter wedding day, the next best thing is an arctic landscape covered in snow from a previous storm. Just take a peek at the white magic snow brings to winter weddings!
Winter weddings may not have bright, sunny days & field of sunflowers but often they have snow. Snow makes things pretty beautiful, doesn't it?

Winter is here in all its glory! All its cozy, romantic glory. We're already several beautiful snowstorms into winter in my little corner of the world. & with winter, come one of my very favorite things- winter weddings!
You may or may not realize that winter
weddings are my absolute favorite. I find winter so romantic because my
husband & I met, got engaged & got married
in winter. While winter weddings are getting more & more love, I
still find the coverage a bit short compared to the other seasons. I even find the winter wedding submissions for this blog are few & far between. Grab
a cup of salted caramel hot chocolate (my new love!) & be prepared to enjoy lots of winter wedding magic in the coming weeks!

Once I spied this bold orange wedding cake, my fall-loving heart fell in love. It's the perfect shade of orange that reminds me of October. Of the chunky pumpkins lining the front steps of local brownstones. Of the fiery leaves changing the tall trees of the local park. Of fall. Of autumn.
& the when pigs fly cake topper? That's just the icing on the orange wedding cake!

Fall mums have made their grand entrance in my home sweet home of Hoboken. In glorious shades of autumn, they grace the front stoops of brownstones & beautify the landscape of parks. Mums equal fall, it's that simple. So is there anything more perfect for a fall wedding cake than a fresh golden-orange mum topper? Celebrate the season, celebrate the love!

Happy Friday! I'm not just signing off for this weekend, I'm signing off for the next week or so. The blog will be dark next week while I'm in Long Beach Island for a wedding. It will be a heartfelt, beautiful wedding, plus I know it will be a rocking good time because our wedding band, Love Jones Band, is performing. Such fun! I wasn't a fan of sequins for a long time. I couldn't see a sequin without having awful flashbacks to the gaudy, sequin dance costumes I was forced to wear when I was a kid. Think florescent sequins combined with a Paula Abdul song! Either time really does dull my memory or sequins have grown up too. They're much more understated & lovely, especially when providing a hint of sparkle as a wedding linen.
All that glitters is fabulous!
