In tomorrow's elopement, there are very few details we typically associate with weddings like white dresses, pretty centerpieces & meaningful favors. But the chic Bride did carry a sweet little bridal bouquet of purple tulips. I was inspired to find simple bridal bouquets that would be just perfect for an elopement or small wedding. I think these beauties fit the bill perfectly!
Happy Friday! I must admit, I am a little sad to see the local New Jersey & New York wedding series come to an end. I can't wallow too long because, of course, I am so excited for the lovely weddings ahead. Here is a sneak peek at next Wedding Wednesday:

Hannah & Matthew got married on June 16, 2012 in Skaneateles, New York. Their wedding was pure sweetness, full of DIY, meaningful details by the Bride. The Bride & Groom became husband & wife at Grace Chapel. Upon entering the small chapel, guests were invited to participate in a ring warming ceremony to bless the wedding bands. The Bride, stunning in a darling lace & tulle wedding gown & colorful heels, walked down the lace-lined burlap aisle runner to marry her Groom. The happy newlyweds were led from the ceremony by a junior bridesmaid carrying a "Just Married" banner. The tented reception was held in an picturesque, open field on the bank of Lake Skaneatles. The rustic dinner tables featured pretty pink flowers in Mason jars, burlap runners, flower-patterned escort cards & wooden cutlery. The celebration included lots of dancing as the guests took their cue from the Bride twirling in her perfect party dress. Soon, it was time to cut the wedding cake, an amazing white cake delicately decorated with mint accents. As the guests departed, they took home their hand-packaged s'mores favors to savor later. Such a sweet affair!
My Favorite Moment: The ring ceremony is absolutely heartwarming! My Favorite Detail: I had a really hard time deciding but, in the end, the s'mores favors stole my heart.
Hello, Friday! After four weeks of featuring local wedding, the New Jersey & New York wedding series comes to a finale next week. It's pretty safe to say I saved a very beautiful wedding for last! Here is a sneak peek at next Wedding Wednesday:
Just imagine. A sweet ceremony in a small chapel. A sweeter reception held on the banks of a river. The sweetest of details, like the wedding cake above. It's a pretty wonderful wedding that you won't want to miss. Check back next Wedding Wednesday for the beauty!
Continuing our local New Jersey & New York wedding series, we travel to the gorgeous Finger Lakes region of New York to enjoy a lovely vineyard wedding at Heron Hill Winery. Consider me completely smitten with the beautiful Bride & Groom & pretty in pink details set against the perfect setting of the vineyard. Here to show us the beauty is Lora Ann Photography:
Amy & Matthew got married on July 7, 2013 at Heron Hill Winery in Hammondsport, New York. The picturesque vineyard provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. The white tent lined with white lights provided stellar views of the vineyard during dinner & dancing. Simple white tables were decorated with unique light green hydrangea centerpieces & glowing candlelight. Pops of pink from the bouquet & wedding cake added a light, sweet touch. Such a pretty wedding! My Favorite Moment: I absolutely adore the Bride & Groom being lead from their ceremony by a bag pipe player. Awesome! My Favorite Detail: For the tented reception, the wine barrels topped with candle lanterns are a fabulous touch. Congratulations, Amy & Matthew!
