{fur babies + weddings} gone to the dogs

My heart melted when I saw this oh so adorable beagle flower pup!  It's probably because she reminds me a bit of my precious beagle-basset hound mix, Bailey.  I'm not just partial to beagles & shih-tzus.  I'm pretty much a fan of any cute pup included in the wedding.  Take a look:

A million times YES! to this sweetie in his preppy bow tie:
Someone is too fabulous for words:
A Frenchie who is clearly rocking those flowers:
This rather dapper Boston terrier was made for a tux:

A wedding gone to the dogs isn't such a bad thing!  Which cutie is your favorite?

{wedding rings} french-style

Oh my heavens.  Does it get any cuter than this adorableness on display here?!  I don't think wedding rings have ever looked better than posed by the most precious Frenchie!!

Are you with me on this one?

{Sneak Peek} Caitlin & Tyler

Happy Friday!

Is anyone excited for the Super Bowl?  Go Ravens!  I'm rooting for them just because I graduated from the University of Maryland.  Truth be told, I'm in it for the good food & good company at the Super Bowl Party.  Before I start celebrating the weekend, let's take a sneak peek at next Wedding Wednesday's charmer:

There are horses.  There are chickens.  Need I say more?  Well, there's also a beautiful Bride & dashing Groom & a lovely family farm wedding.  It's pretty epic!  It's coming at you next Wedding Wednesday- don't forget!

Have an amazing weekend!

{Fur Babies + Weddings} In Memory of Gucci

On January 15, my husband & I mark two events, each very, very different.  This year on January 15, we happily celebrated our second wedding anniversary (yay!) & we quietly remembered our sweet, precious Gucci who we put to sleep three years ago after a long, happy life (sniff, sniff).  We considered not getting married on January 15 because it was the day our hearts broke & we lost Gucci but, in the end, life goes on.  But my buddy is still missed & forever loved!

Today, I've gathered a few of my favorite images of fur babies in weddings & I dedicate this pet post to my Gucci.

The pretty flower pup & handsome ring pup make quite the dapper duo:

The adorable flower pup perfectly coordinates with the sunny yellow bridal party:

An autumn backyard wedding clearly calls for some participation from the Bride & Groom's pups:

I can't decide what I like best: the pups' frilly tutus or their big smiles!

Hey, not everyone is thrilled with wearing a tutu:

So, SO cute- a little fur adds charm to any wedding!

For you, Gucci.  You added so much love & laughter & antics & memories to my life.

{fur babies + weddings} girl's got style

Every once in awhile, I start to think that I have done or seen it at all when it comes to weddings.  I have logged in over 12 years as a wedding planner & wedding addict who regularly pores over my clients' weddings & weddings in magazines & blogs.  Naturally, something always comes along to slap me in the face & remind me that weddings, much like life, will always surprise me.  Case in point:

Yes, my wedding loves, that is a darling chihuahua donning a faux fur jacket on her parents' wedding day.  It's too fabulous & adorable for words!  This chihuahua has style for miles.  You know I love me a winter Bride in faux fur but I never imagined a fur baby in faux fur.  Not in my wildest wedding dreams.

I would say now I've seen it all in the wedding world, however, I'm sure the next surprise is just around the corner!
