{Snowy Spring Colorado Wedding} Lauren & Tristan

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

At first glance, this snowy wedding looks like a winer wedding.  That is the surprise- it's a spring wedding!  Imagine how shocked the Bride & Groom were to see snow on their spring wedding day.  Not even Mother Nature can get in the way of true love & they kept smiling & enjoying their beautiful wedding.  Elegant Images- Colorado shows us the beauty:

Lauren & Tristan got married on April 21 at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons, Colorado.  Surrounded by Halls Ranch Open Space, the private estate offers incredible views of the picturesque Colorado mountains.  A surprise spring snowstorm made those mountain views snowy & special on Lauren & Tristan's wedding day!  The blue & brown color palette accented with colorful flowers popped beautifully against the wintery landscape.

Thankfully, the snow was the only wedding day surprise.  The wedding went off without a hitch, thanks to the good attitudes of the Bride & Groom.  They didn't let the white stuff ruin their day!  The ceremony was moved indoors to keep everyone warm & cozy.  Surrounded by their friends & family with snow falling outside, they said "I Do!" The new Mr. & Mrs. braved the elements to capture sweet newlywed moments against the wintery backdrop.  The reception in the Grand Ballroom started with a traditional First Dance, then the Bride & Groom kicked off the dance party.  It was a winter wonderland spring wedding to remember!

My Favorite Moment:  The Bride & Groom letting loose to start the dance party!

My Favorite Detail:  The lovely dessert display complete with rustic tree stumps & colorful flowers.

Congratulations, Lauren & Tristan!

{Real Fall Colorado Wedding} Michelle & Chris

Well, my Koru friends, the time has come- our very last real wedding post for 2012.  Can you believe it?!  For the remainder of the year, I'm going to concentrate on a fun mixture of holiday, personal & plain old (not real) wedding posts.  I'm pretty excited!

I saved a real beauty for last, a wedding that reflects what I truly love about weddings: the love & joy.  The autumn wedding with an outdoor ceremony & manor reception has a few simply beautiful peach & chocolate brown details.  But Bride's happy, bright smile . . . well, let's just say it's the kind of detail that really matters.  Her lovely smile graces every moment in every photo!  Show us the love, Black Forest Photography:

My Favorite Moment: The Bride & Groom laughing during speeches- too cute!

My Favorite Detail: While I'm loving the perfect number that is the Bride's peach rose bridal bouquet, I have to vote for the Bride's smile.  It shows so much joy & love!

Congratulations, Michelle & Chris!

{Real Rural Wedding} Ashley & Jeremy

Due to spending time with my family in the past two weeks, I have fallen terribly behind in posting real weddings.  Want to hear the good news?  In order to catch up, I am deeming this Wedding Week & I am posting a new, fabulous real wedding for you each day!!

As August winds down & takes summer with it, now is the perfect time to enjoy a summer wedding with bright pops of pink & green.  As always, Vendla Stockdale captures the hot wedding day perfectly:

Warm, sunny summer is the perfect season for weddings, although it can tend to get hot & sticky as it did on Ashley & Jeremy's wedding day.  The happy couple didn't let the heat ruin their big plans for a fun wedding with a cheery palette of pink & green.  They spent four hours before their ceremony with their bridal party capturing their love for each other & their love for the rural western slope countryside they call home.  The Bride & Groom visited a scenic bridge, a dramatic railroad track, a park gazebo, an abandoned mill &, my personal favorite, a vintage truck in the perfect shade of green.  How cute is the matching pink & green Just Married sign in the truck photos?!  The new Mr. and Mrs. prove that big smiles & tons of fun always beat the heat!

Congratulations, Ashley & Jeremy!
