A few weeks ago, Memorial Day kicked off the summer season & now Jersey girls flock to the shore every weekend. My pregnant self can't make the trip so I have to settle for featuring Jersey shore weddings like this lovely. With an iconic Cape May location, family focus & personal details, this wedding is truly a Jersey shore gem. Art + Life Photography shows us the beauty:
Krista & Joe got married on October 13 in historic Cape May, New Jersey. The oceanfront location served as a beautiful backdrop to a day focused on their love & their family, specifically Joe's children. During the seaside ceremony, the Bride & Groom formed a circle with the kids & made a family promise in front of their guests. It was a touching moment, every bit as important as the traditional vows. After the sweet ceremony and newlywed photos at the beach, dinner, dancing & general merriment followed at The Grand Hotel reception. What a great start for this family!

My Favorite Detail: The incredible window seating chart, made from windows from the Bride's grandmother's home & a local lighthouse.

Bethany & Joshua got married on September 21 at Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The beautiful beach location influenced everything from the Bride's starfish hair comb to the ceremony & reception decor to the wedding cake. With a pretty blue & purple color palette to reflect the ocean waters, there were starfish, seashells, fishing nets aplenty. The sun didn't shine on the wedding day but the love was bright. An intimate beach ceremony was followed by a seaside reception to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs.!
My Favorite Moment: The Bride & Groom cutting loose on the dance floor!
My Favorite Detail: There are so many darling beach details to admire but if forced to choose, I like the three tiny crystal starfish gracing the Bride's hair.

After a day of snow flurries yesterday, the escape of a sunny beach wedding is definitely in order. Especially such a pretty pink & white beach wedding with a "kick your shoes off & bury your toes in the sand" vibe. Maria Angela Photography shows us the beauty:
New York residents Laura & Stephen had a destination beach wedding on May 10 at the Marco Island Marriott in Marco Island, Florida. The entire wedding was held under the Florida skies, from the sunny beach ceremony to the sunny-turned-moonlight beachside reception. Pink & white details were woven throughout the wedding, as well as a laid-back, no shoes required attitude.
A white sand beach with a turquoise ocean backdrop was the perfect setting for the sweet ceremony. The beautiful Bride walked down a sandy aisle marked with white hydrangea poms hanging from pale pink ribbon. At the simple wooden & fabric altar decorated with flowers, the Bride & Groom said "I Do!" in front of their family & friends.
The celebration continued in an open-air courtyard flanked by towering Florida palm trees. Under the palm fronds, tables were decorated with simple white or pink flower arrangements or with white candle lanterns surrounded by flowers. It was a lovely setting for eating, drinking & general merriment. As the sun spectacularly set, the Bride & Groom sealed their happily ever after with a beach kiss!
