{Sneak Peek} Gina & Kenneth

Happy Friday!  My darling hubs & I are road tripping it to Boston for a wedding.  I'm a guest!  As a wedding planner, it's a huge thrill to sit back & enjoy a wedding as a guest.  I can't wait to celebrate the happy couple & dance the night away with my hubs!

Before we hit the road, I put together a little sneak peek of next Wedding Wednesday's wedding:

What a stylish Bride!  This romantic Bride & Groom got married on the official day of love, Valentine's Day.  Awww.  Trust me, you don't want to miss this warm, cozy winter wedding!

Happy Weekend!

{Real Nashville Wedding} Shelly & Kevin

What do you get when you combine historic Nashville, Tennessee locations with an autumn wedding day?  A fabulous celebration!!!  Let's take a peek at the lovely photographs from Joe Hendricks Photography:

Nashville, Tennessee is a cool city with plenty of history & Shelly & Kevin chose to accentuate that classic charm on their beautiful October  wedding day.  The Bride & Groom said "I Do!" at Belmont Mansion, an elegant mansion with Victorian opulence just minutes from downtown.  Shifting gears into celebration mode, The Bride & Groom held their reception at historic Nashville landmark of Marathon Village, an antiquated automobile factory transformed into a unique space with exposed brick & wooden beams.  They infused their day with the striking autumn colors of orange & purple from the Bride's bouquet to the paper lanterns.  The new Mr. & Mrs. rode into happily ever after in a vintage 1929 Packard.

Congratulations, Shelly & Kevin!

Wedding Wheels, Non-Getaway Edition

Another month, another Wedding Wheels post, my favorite post celebrating the cool & unusual modes of transportation Brides & Grooms use for their grand departure on their wedding day.  I like to mix things up a bit & today is no different.  Today's post doesn't involve any getaways, just Brides & Grooms posing by some fabulous sets of wheels.

A cutie-patoutie silver trailer surrounded by a miniature white picket fence is a whimsical backdrop for a Bride & Groom kiss:

A spiffy red tractor doesn't have room for six passengers but it's just right for a party photo:

Why not tour a classic VW lot to lend classic cool to your wedding photo?

The army green truck has seen better days but it's surely never had such a lovely bridal party posing near it:

Be still my Wedding Wheels-loving heart, a Bride & Groom found a vintage blue pick-up truck pulling an incredible airstream trailer:

I love, LOVE!  If you can't orchestrate a grand departure in a  too-cool-for-school getaway car, you can still include awesome wheels in your wedding day!  Who knew?!

{Real Lakeside Wedding} Jen & Ben

With my family living in nearby Temecula for over 20 years, I have driven through the rolling hills of  Fallbrook, California many times & thought it would be a lovely place to live.  Then I was lucky enough to have this destination wedding in Fallbrook come my way & I realized Fallbrook is a lovely place to get married.  I have the fabulous images from Brilliant Imagery to prove it:

Tucked away in the mountains of Northern San Diego is the lakeside gazebo & picturesque vineyard of Los Willows in Fallbrook, California.  It's no wonder Las Vegas residents Jen & Ben chose this gorgeous location for their destination, summer wedding.

This was one stylish bridal party!  The beaming Bride accented her beautiful wedding gown with a dramatic black sash.  Her white rose & orchid bouquet was unique with dangling, delicate orchids.  The bridesmaids wore deep purple dresses matched by the groomsmen's purple argyle socks.  The handsome Groom stood out with his yellow argyle socks!

Not many Brides & Grooms use boats for their wedding transportation but this lakeside ceremony was the perfect excuse to use one!  The Bride & Father of the Bride took a boat ride across the lake to arrive at the ceremony decorated with purple & white flowers.  Family & friends looked on as the happy couple said "I Do!"  The new Mr. & Mrs. departed the ceremony by hitting the open waters in the boat.

After taking photos in the pretty vineyard, the Bride & Groom celebrated with their family & friends in a lakeside pavilion also decorated with purple & white flowers.  Smiles & laughter were the best accessories for the Bride & Groom, with a little cake icing smearing thrown in for extra fun.  As the night wound down, The Bride & Groom made their grand departure in a vintage Rolls Royce.

Congratulations, Jen & Ben!

Hearts & Sparkles

Hello, my dear Koru friends & family!  You may not have noticed since the blog kept going but I have been missing for the past two weeks.  I've been celebrating my birthday & relaxing on a Cape Cod vacation.  I enjoyed every moment but it's nice to be back!

& I could not think of a better way to kick off my return than with two of my favorite things:

Hearts & sparkles!  I fell in love with these darling bridal shoes upon second glance.  Upon first sight of the simple ivory peep toes decorated with a sweet heart, I thought the bridal shoes were cute.  Then I noticed the awesome rainbow glittery heels & I was sold.  Love, LOVE!!!

Sweetness in the front, party in the back!

{weddings rings} Lobster Claw

Summer goes hand-in-hand with fresh seafood on the East Coast & I couldn't help but smile when I spied this quirky wedding ring photo:

Normally, the last place I would want to see wedding rings are in the grips of a lobster's claw but for a seaside wedding, it's pure genius!

{Real Canadian Wedding} Sadaf & Pedro

Sometimes a real wedding doesn't need commentary from me.  Sometimes the love & joy of the moments captured say enough.  Today's British Columbia, Canada wedding is one such wedding.  Please enjoy this wordless wedding from Kunio Photography:
