Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today's pretty wedding has so much to admire: a boho chic Bride, perfectly mismatched turquoise bridesmaids, beautiful wildflowers, delicate baby's breath and much more.  But it's what you don't see that is the most admirable of all.  Just before their garden ceremony, rain, thunder & lightning ruined their grand plans.  But this couple just kept smiling & carried on with their lovely wedding which is truly amazing.  Ampersand Wedding Photography shows us the beauty:

Starr & Sam got married on July 4, 2013 at Catamount Country Club in Williston, Vermont.  Their wedding had a boho chic vibe & a decidedly laid-back, carefree attitude.  Vermont's natural beauty was accented with a daisy & baby's breath bridal bouquet, baby's breath bridesmaid bouquets & baby's breath centerpieces made by a family friend.  The couple planned to take full advantage of the sixty acres of Green Mountain countryside with a picturesque garden ceremony.  Mother Nature squashed their plans with torrential rain, loud thunder & crazy lightning.  The Bride & Groom took everything in stride & opted for a cozy, romantic ceremony on the porch.  Just after being pronounced husband & wife, the sun started shining!  They frolicked among the sunshine & wildflowers before joining their family & friends for cocktails, dinner & dancing.  A wonderful wedding for these beautiful spirits!  

My Favorite Moment:  Three cheers for the Bride & Groom smiling through the rain & refusing to let it ruin their day.

My Favorite Detail:  The Bride's entire look from her sparkly sandals to her incredible bouquet & everything in between!

{weddings} oh baby

Baby's breath has a light, airy, dreamy feel.  This simple, budget-friendly flower is popping up more & more in weddings, including tomorrow's real wedding, as the main star, not just a filler flower.  The trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere & I am still a fan of baby's breath in weddings.  Let's take a moment to celebrate the delicate baby's breath!

{weddings} white out

No white after Labor Day, said someone once upon a time.  My Mom was actually quite strict about that rule when I was younger.  These days, anything goes.  White is beautiful in every season, especially when it comes to weddings.  Railing against the no-white-after-Labor-Day rule, we're going all white today! 

From bridal bouquets to wedding transportation & everything in between, white is always right!
