{bridal bouquets} single
When Brides think of single during wedding planning, they are most likely considering inviting their single guests with a date or embarrassing their single ladies with a bouquet toss. Things could be changing! Single may become a common word during wedding flower conversations. More & more, I spy Brides carrying one single bloom for their bridal bouquet. Hmmm, being single never looked so good!
A single bloom bridal bouquet is certainly a budget-friendly choice. & a stunning one!

{Sneak Peek} Rahaf & Zeke
Happy Friday! I'm not just signing off for this weekend, I'm signing off for the next week or so. The blog will be dark next week while I'm in Long Beach Island for a wedding. It will be a heartfelt, beautiful wedding, plus I know it will be a rocking good time because our wedding band, Love Jones Band, is performing. Such fun! Once the new Mr. & Mrs. are enjoying their Hawaii honeymoon, I'll be back & here is a sneak peek at the next Wedding Wednesday:
Oh, this wedding is coral, lilac & beautiful all over! You won't want to miss the beauty of every little detail. So let's make a deal: meet me back here on Wednesday, October 2 to enjoy this elegant wedding!
Wishing you the very best~

{wedding decor} sequins for the win
I wasn't a fan of sequins for a long time. I couldn't see a sequin without having awful flashbacks to the gaudy, sequin dance costumes I was forced to wear when I was a kid. Think florescent sequins combined with a Paula Abdul song! Either time really does dull my memory or sequins have grown up too. They're much more understated & lovely, especially when providing a hint of sparkle as a wedding linen.
All that glitters is fabulous!

{weddings} h is for hydrangea
Summer flowers make our world much more beautiful, especially hydrangeas. Whether they are spilling over the concrete sidewalks of Hoboken or dotting the landscape at the shore, hydrangeas are simply gorgeous. & they are just as pretty in summer weddings! I really adore pastel, muted hydrangeas that appear as if they are faded from the bright summer sun.
So lovely! In everyday life & in special occasions like weddings, what are your favorite summer flowers?

for the love of carnations
Since I started this blog, I've dedicated a few posts to showing some love for the mostly unloved, unappreciated carnations. They may not be flashy or exotic like some of their flower friends but carnations are pretty & affordable. I used carnations for our wedding because I stuck to a very strict, tight flower budget. It seems I'm not the only one as I'm seeing carnations used stylishly & beautifully in weddings more & more. Keep an open mind & take a look!
Carnation heads strung on invisible wire make for a stunning pink ombre ceremony backdrop! It would be just as pretty in any color, indoors or out:
Carnation pomadors hanging from lovely ribbons are the perfect touch for another outdoor ceremony. The poms would be just as pretty decorating the aisle of a church:
Small & simple, this darling carnation centerpiece is well-sized for a cocktail table. Just make it a little larger if you have bigger tables:
A creative, overflowing centerpiece of carnations in shades of peaches & pinks:
Budget-friendly Brides, you can see it's easy to make inexpensive carnations into great wedding looks. Give carnations a chance!
