Can you believe that when we meet back here on Tuesday, it will be September? It's hard to believe. Summer has been beautiful & amazing, while also sad & heartbreaking. RZ & I are determined to end on a high note & we're spending the weekend at the shore to celebrate the last days of summer. I'm ready to say good-bye & embrace a new season of possibilities. Farewell, Summer!
Happy Labor Day weekend! Make it safe, make it very fun!!

Delay after delay has kept me from sharing this beautiful wedding & I am tickled pink to finally post it today!
Peacock feathers are gorgeous & inspiring with their shades of deep teal, jade green & chocolate brown color scheme & they've been popping up more & more in wedding such as this one. The Bride loved peacock feathers so much she added them to her garter, bouquet, centerpieces & many other details. The best part is the Bride collected most of the feathers from a relative's peacocks! Let's take a look at this peacock feather love fest by Joe Hendricks Photography:
Corley & Jake got married in the popular wedding month of June at the famous Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. It was peacock feathers galore! Everywhere you looked, there were peacock feathers added tastefully & beautifully to the wedding.
The ceremony took place near the fountain in the Crystal Gazebo, a lush space full of greenery. Simple, pretty peacock feathers tied with raw silk ribbons decorated the aisle. The Bride was a true vision of beauty, wearing a gorgeous lace Priscilla of Boston wedding gown (anyone else sad this brand no longer exists?) and carrying a overflowing rose bouquet accented with peacock feathers. With a nod to the importance of family, the Bride's engagement ring & wedding band were aged 60 years, originally belonging to the Groom's grandmother. Just as her peacock blue shoes proclaimed, the Bride & Groom said "I Do!"
The dinner & dancing reception took place in the majestic Magnolia Ballroom, boasting an amazing crystal chandelier & detailed ceiling, where the Bride & Groom celebrated with their treasured guests. The guests' tables were decorated with peacocks perched among flowers & surrounded by floating candles. & the cake- what a masterpiece! The ivory stunner had lace appliqués, big white bows & plenty of sparkly bling.
When the wedding was over, the Bride & Groom rode off into happily ever after in an elaborate Cinderella carriage pulled by a white horse.
Congratulations, Corley & Jake!

When the wedding photographer, Tonya Beaver Photography, sends you a wedding & says the theme is love, you know you're in for a real treat. With a thoughtful Groom surprising his Bride with flowers at the start of the day & pulling off just about the sweetest reception surprise at the end of the night, this wedding is truly all about love. Let's take a look:
Julie & Jim got married at Ponte Vendra Inn & Club, an oceanfront beach resort in northeast Florida. Julie planned the day carefully, adding unexpected choices & pink touches to personalize their wedding day. The glowing Bride donned flip flops instead of stilettos, enjoyed a cupcake tower instead of a wedding cake & picked a golf cart getaway over a limousine.
But what the Bride didn't plan for were two surprises from the Groom that truly defined this affair of love. The Groom arranged the delivery white roses to the Bride days before the wedding & signed them from "Your Future Husband." Then the Groom saved the very best for last. During the reception, he surprised his Bride with a larger-than-life Skype session with her brother, who is stationed overseas, & melted her heart. Oh, how very sweet!
Congratulations, Julie & Jim!
